I recently had the pleasure of attending a leadership book club discussion on the book “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” by Joe Dispenza. It was hosted by The Phoenix Coaching Co. and facilitated by Afsheen Ismail Wey, PCC. One concept that was discussed and resonated deeply with me was the observer effect in quantum physics. It reminded me that the universe is full of endless possibilities and reinforces the importance of staying open to possibilities.

For me, it means letting go of the need to control every little detail and not being attached to the “how” of things. Doing so really brought me to the next level of freedom. Releasing the grip of societal expectations and my own self-imposed limitations have allowed me to welcome uncertainties and stepping into the unknown with courage and grace, knowing that they hold potentials far beyond what my mind can comprehend

The discussion in the book club really warmed me up to dive into facilitating the “Liberated Lives” workshop at my organization, which started yesterday. Together with 48 participants, we will walk together for three days on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment so that we can liberate ourselves from the constraints of society and our own minds.

Through workshops, one on one work, and providing support within the context of a community, I aim to create a space where people can thrive and grow into the best versions of themselves. I am thrilled and thankful that I get to do what I do.
